Originated in the Philippines, an epiphytic orchid grown in highlands at an altitude of about 1,000 meters above sea level. Large species, plant height is about 70~80 centimeters. Leaves are slender, leathery, the rear side purple, on the drooping leaves are scattered bits of red blossoms. Generally about 2 ~ 6 flowers form a clump. Flowers are small, the size about one centimeter, pale purple in color. Prefers warm and shady place with moderate daylight. Flowering is in winter.
